I absolutely loved this book and have already recommended it to a couple friends. Quick read, not too heavy. Just what I needed. I often found myself agreeing out loud or saying isn't that the truth to many of Rob's points. Want to have a healthy relationship and be ready to receive that blessing and gift of true love? Full of Wrath

By far the best book in the series so far. It started out very slow, especially after the surprising ending in Wasserman's 3rd book in the series, Pride. Of course it was not slow for long with ongoing scenes building up to a very surprising ending. The book deals with more issues than the other three. I love the realationship status between everyone. Kaia and her bizzare realationships with Powell and Reed. Harper, Beth, and Adams, weird connections. And Miranda and her on-going crush on Kane. In this book Harper is very much alone after Adam and beth found out what happened. With her only friends being Kane and Kaia. Kaia deals with her realationships with Reed the scruffball and Powell the French teacher. Miranda and Beth team up for this book to get their wrath out on (mainly) Harper and the rest of the gang who screwed them over.There is also a weird and unexpecting realationship betwen Kane and one of the girls(Very Surprising!)! Adam is just laying around after realizing his life has amounted to nothing but being alone.
I love how Wasserman keeps the reader on the edge of their seat, turning page after page to see what will happen next. Normally it is very hard to read about seven main characters and keep everybody straight, but Wasserman does a great job (again!) with connecting everyone and keeping everyone unique!
I love this book and I encourage everyone to buy this book and the rest of the series. These are some of my favorite books!
With such a twist at the end I cannot wait for the rest of the series!

I love these books. I can't believe there aren't more reviews for them. They are definite guilty pleasures, and I wasn't expecting to like them this much. They're miles ahead of Gossip Girl or any of those types of books, in terms of writing and character development. Also, each book is as good, if not better, than the last. I'm not saying they're great lit or anything, but they are very entertaining. And I really enjoy the relationships between the characters. After the ending of Wrath (not what I was expecting at all), I'm pretty much dying for the next installment.

Great Book With A Surprising Ending

I just finished reading the fourth book in the Seven Deadly Sins Series " Wrath" and I just loved it, it keeps you guessing and I really loved the potential of Reed/Kaia and what happens to Kaia and Mr.Powell too, the evil jerk that he is. Someone dies but we won't find out till the next book. I still can't stand Beth and Miranda the most useless characters in the series. Still love Harper and Kaia and KAne and Reed.

A visually stunning, well written and thought / action provoking guide to becoming "your best self". Love this book!

This book is simply stunning and inspirational! Whether you are new to or thinking about starting yoga (and are looking for a background rather than a guide, more on that later) , have been practicing for some time or are a committed Yogi; this book will have something for you!

To begin with this is a large, well written and simply stunning book! Filled with amazing imagery of stunning scenery from around the world, yoga poses and people simply being in the moment; it is worth it just for the quality and depth of the photography. But, if course, this goes far beyond that!

This book was authored by -among others, Jeff Krasno - the Cofounder of the Wanderlust Festivals. As stated in the introduction "The dictionary describes wanderlust as an innate desire to travel"; and with that "Wanderlust is a base camp for ideas and practices from master teachers, provocative thinkers, mind/body experts, cutting edge artists and conscious business leaders that set the coordinates for your journey" , helping you "cultivate your own best self, to find your true north". This culture and with it the guiding principles in this book are a great tool in helping you become the best that you can be. As stated, it will take you from simple daily practices to a pathway to becoming a leader in this world; but it is also pointed out that this is a life long journey and this book just "gets you out of the harbor. You must skull ahead"

So what is this book? It is comprised 8 chapters loaded with yoga, recipes, advice for living well, written exercises (with areas of the book that you can write in as you work through those exercises), stories , quotes, learning. It really is a 360 approach.

Chapter one is finding your practice with detailed information about yoga, meditation, daily intentions. There is a thirty day challenge centered around yamas (moral principles) and niyamas (observances). A spot to begin journaling, and this is a pathway to get started.

Chapter two is finding your direction; thinking about what path you want and how that can help us get to where we want to be in life and includes a guide to breathing, or rather being present with the breath. There is a also a really great guide to hand and foot acupuncture - Sujok, which I found fascinating! It is in chapter three that we also find the first photography of yoga poses tied into chakras and those new to yoga might want to be aware that in the previous two chapters, the routines are illustrated via stick figures, so those new to practicing will likely have a hard time following along!

Chapter 4 is find your heart , learning to love yourself then others, including guides to places you can go to find solitude or adventure and a written exercise looking at things, people and places that you love. Chapter 5 centers around community looking at everything from volunteering to community supported agriculture ; and exploring famous faces and their yoga exploration.

Chapter 6 I really love - finding your creative spark; which I believe we all have, but it can often be suppressed as we work , work , work then end our day exhausted as we try and keep up with life and others; as opposed to finding what makes us happy. Also, side note, as a chocolate lover, I was happy to see a section on "yoga and chocolate". Chapter 7 is finding your center and looks at building an alter as your own sacred space . Also dealing with stress and in particular the cortisol that is making the nation, fat, inflamed, chronically ill and leads to premature aging with tips to "rehab cortisol and get reentered".

Finally chapter 8: finding your true north full of shared stories; putting the onus for change on you , the reader, being successful and accordingly., just like we do at the end of yoga, finishing with a reflection on Savasana , Om and Namaste.

This book will live on my nightstand for some time to come as I will want to look at it, read it and refer to it again and again. I simply love the message, the challenges, the thoughts, and the stunning, amazing pictures! As noted earlier, this is a guide for discovering your best self, encompassing amongst other things, yoga ; so those new to the practice, might want to note, this is not a guide how to do yoga, but the base for becoming a new you and exploring the practice some more. Those familiar with yoga will love this and I really feel in this rat race we all live, in , slowing down and becoming our best selves is a mantra we can all live by!

This book is fiercely important for the yoga community--or any one who practices yoga. It is full of stunning images, recipes, yoga sequences, and lots of helpful texts about how to better yourself and your practice. I have had this book for about a week and I feel that I have learned so much about myself through the journaling prompts, my practice through the texts, and so much history and understanding about all aspects of yoga practice. Beautifully Designed Book that Combines Yoga Poses, Philosophy, Recipes and Many Scenic Gorgeous Photos in a Coffee Table Book

Note, half the photos including the cover are taken by my cousin Sasha Juliard, so I'm biased. Also many of the pictures are of his girlfriend Nicole who is one of the authors. That being said this is a beautifully designed book that combines yoga poses, philosophy, recipes and many scenic gorgeous photos in a coffee table book level book, with heavyweight paper pages. I think it is a good value, and if you subscribe to the Wanderlust movement or know someone who does it would be a good gift for yourself or that friend of yours.

Practitioner's guide to contextual design - now with more agile / scrum

Karen's process is something that actually works, unlike many psudo-ethnographic customer engagement strategies.

By maintaining a connection to the customer data from the beginning to the end, it uniquely empowers you with a defensible design rationale. Something few other approaches can say.

A true roadmap for playing nicely with agile development is also something you won't find in most other customer research methodologies, especially contextual ones.

Whether or not you are willing to live the process and follow the steps outlined is another matter. Your mileage may vary, especially if you decided to line item veto particular aspects.

Good book for the beginners

If you are a professional on this are, the book doesn't give you much new information. It tells lots about different methods that are already written in the other books as well. For a new people in this area, the book is very good introduction to the (rapid) contextual design.
I liked the way the book was written. It was easy and understandable to read.

Useful to quickly get up to speed on practical execution of a contextual design approach

How-to guides are not typically very entertaining and this is no exception. Pretty much does what it says on the cover. Practical summary of running a Contextual Design approach from start to end for different timings and contexts. Some parts are really just rehashes from other books which I did not find interesting but it's probably necessary for completeness. More diagrams and illustrations would have made this a quicker read and some of the references to development methods are a tad dated.

Read the book, not on a Kindle

I really enjoyed the book. Prior to reading the book, I had only heard the Serial podcast. My only complaint is that I read it on my Kindle. The author, Rabia Chaudry, inserted copies of notes, hearing transcripts, etc. I could not read them on the kindle because the print was too small. It would not enlarge.

I pretty much figured out what the contents were, but it would have been nice to be able to read it (or have a transcript written below).

Wonderful read with even more insight than the podcasts. Rabia did a great job explaining all of the history in an easy to follow read.

Fearless, captivating, page-turning, gut-wrenching

Is there a word stronger than love..? I've been following the case since late last year. I was a late bloomer in the serial world. But I listened to almost all episodes of undisclosed as well. When I got this book I didn't expect too much new info. I expected more of the same. But for the first time in my life, I was wrong. Not only did I find a lot of very interesting new information, but I also found a new hero: Rabia. The best way I can describe her is a very well educated, thorough and eloquent bada$$. Her writing style is captivating and I found myself laughing to tears at some points, clenching my pillow with anticipation at others. She creates the scene so well and takes the reader through a time machine to land directly in the moment. She captured Adnan's story so well, I feel most readers, like myself, feel like we've known him for years by the end of this book. Beyond that she did a great job of setting the scene, and explaining the community of ISB. The muslim culture is sorely misrepresented and misunderstood on a large scale. I grew up going to Sunday school at ISB, and while I wasn't too involved in the community I was surrounded by it. This book, Rabia, does a great job of depicting what life was like for the most common Muslim American teens. The same lifestyle that was painted over with a broad and very bigoted brush at this trial. This book is Adnans story, but his story the embodiment of everything that Muslim Americans right now fear. Her fearless and outspoken nature shine brightly through the pages of this work, and we need more outspoken and dedicated individuals like Rabia in our community and world. Can't wait to read her next work!
