Good fun

After hearing that the Sci-Fi channel was doing a mini-series based on this book, and that it was a Hugo award winner, I decided see what the big deal was. I was pleasantly surprised by how entertaining this novel is.

PJ Farmer wrote an interesting blend of historical/science fiction (or speculative fiction as he might call it). He took characters from many different sections of history and tosses them into interesting scenarios on the Riverworld. The book tends to alternate between descriptions of the the artificial planet Riverworld and how it seems to work, descriptions of encountered characters and their place in our real-world history, action scenes, and plot advancements which involve the characters' investigation of the Riverworld, and why they, along with the 33 billion other humans who ever lived, suddenly woke up on the banks of the snaking river.

I bought the first book online, and finished it in a night and a day. Promptly after, I order the other four in the series. They've all been fun, and educational. I think I've learned more about history in the past two weeks reading the Riverworld series than I did in the past three years since I graduated from college.

A great installment for the series

Okay, I thought I write a review since it hasn't yet recieved one. If you read the first two,You Are So Undead to Me & Undead Much? I doubt you'll need much encouragement to buy this one. But if you haven't you've got to read the first two or much of this wont make sense to you.

Megan Berry once again lands herself into trouble but you can't blame her, all she wanted to do was to be with him, her one true love. Not wanting to spoil anything for a wannabe reader I'll just say this, there are parts were you want to scream at her, telling her not to go, dont do that but if she dosen't well then there wouldn't be a story, would there?

It's a great continuous to the series. You'll learn more about her just like you did in the second one, though more than she ever wanted to know. You'll love it just like the others. I had to get the kindle for my PC(thankfully its free from amazon) just so i could read and find out what happens next. I hope in the future she'll be able to write more about Megan berry because I just love this series and the whole concept of zombie settlers. I bid her goodluck and encourage you (future buyer) to get this...I promise you, you wont regret it, I sure didn't.

"Valentine's Day of the Undead", though shorter than the first two Megan Berry novels, is just as good. Kinda reminds me a little bit of espresso. Lots of flavor and action in a smaller size. If you've read "You Are So Undead To Me" and "Undead Much?" you won't be lost at all. If you haven't I suggest you go read them as they're great. Honestly the only downside was how short it was. I love the world that Stacey Jay created with the Zombie Settler series and hope that there is some way we can see more of the Megan Berry books in the future.

I am so happy that I purchased this book! The book starts with a history of the Teddy Bear breed and where they come from, really interesting. From there it goes into all the practical advice that you will need to raise a Teddy Bear Puppy. They talk about what to do the first night and the first few days with your Teddy Bear. They also have a lot of advice about feeding, exercise, socializing and even teddy-proofing your house! Unlike a couple of the other Teddy Bear books I have read, this one is actually ALL ABOUT Teddy Bear Puppies. A couple of the other ones I have seen just have very generic information that could be about any dog and they stick "Teddy Bear Puppy Book" on the cover. This one is different and it is actually completely written for a new owner of a Teddy Bear puppy. 100% recommended!

Training is dog general, not teddybear specific. Some points contradict, I/e: One part of book says no hot dogs for food, but training says use as a treat. Which is it? Good book and helpful overall.
